Jeanette Lee ranked as the No. 1 female pool player in the world during the 1990s, and received the Women’s Professional Billiard Association Sportsperson of the Year Award in 1998. She was three times runner-up at the World Nine-ball Championships. She is also a US Open 9-ball Champion, WPBA National Champion, McDermott 8-ball bar-table world champion, National 3-cushion Billiard Champion, and Trick Shot World Champion.

In 1983, Ewa Laurance became the first female European player to win a professional pool event in the United States, winning the Clyde Childress 9-Ball Open. Laurance has won numerous major women’s pool titles, including the WPA World Nine-ball Championship, WPBA U.S. Open 9-Ball Championship, WPBA National Championship, International Trick Shot Challenge and the European Pool Championship.

Strickland is a multiple winner of the prestigious Billiards Digest Player of the Year in 1984, 1985, 1987, 1988 and 2000 including Billiards Digest Player of the Decade in the 1980s. His career highlights of a record three WPA World Nine-ball Championships & a record five U.S. Open Nine-ball Championships & a record three McDermott Masters 9-Ball Championships. Strickland is the only WPA World Nine-ball Champion ever to win the event in consecutive years. At Mosconi Cup, from 1996 until 2005, Strickland holds the record for winning nine times along with Johnny Archer.
